Tryouts for AA, AAA and Majors are tentatively scheduled for August 14. Practices begin around the week of August 25, or when we get the fields back from their scheduled downtime. Our first games will begin the week of September 7. Fall regular season games end November 4 and tournaments are played throughout mid-November. **All dates are subject to change based on Collier County Parks and Recreation guidelines.**

Divisions:

T-ball is for beginners who have never played baseball or are young ball players. There is one 1-hour practice each week on a weeknight of the coach's choosing. Games are played on Saturday mornings at various fields through the County. Players are placed on a team. There is no player evaluation.

Single A is a set up from t-ball where kids will be pitched a call by the coach and then hit off a tee if need be. The focus will be on learning defense, throwing, and catching. A gives the player a great level of development and sets them up for success in AA.

AA is the next step after leaving the tee and involves players who can catch and throw reliably well. AA is exclusively played using a Blue Flame pitching machine. There is generally one 1-hour practice per week on a weeknight of the coach's choosing. Games are on Saturday mornings at various fields through the County. Players will need to attend the player evaluation and will be drafted onto a team based on skill level.

AAA is the kid pitch division for more advanced players. They must be comfortable catching, throwing, and hitting. There are two practices per week for 90 minutes each and two games per week at various fields throughout the County. There is a tryout for this division in early January where all players will try out and be followed by a draft by coaches. Not all players will make the AAA division. If they aren't ready to play at this level, they will be placed in our AA division. There is an end of season tournament that all teams will play in.

This is the most advanced division. All players must have mature baseball skills and are comfortable in all aspects of the game. Opposing pitchers pitch up to 60 mph and a hard work ethic is expected at every practice and game. There is a tryout for this division in where all players will tryout and will be followed up by a draft by coaches. Not all players will make the Majors division. If they aren't ready to play at this level, they will be placed in our AAA division. There are multiple end of season tournaments all teams will play in.
